Nigeria is rich in solid minerals. This have attracted many foreign nationals. These solid minerals drive the economic sector of Nigeria. In this article, I will share with you the list of solid minerals in Nigeria and their states of location.

Nigeria is blessed with numerous natural resources. The list below shows types of natural resources in each state.

Most of these resources have not yet being tapped or even used for the enrichment and development of Nigeria .

Potash deposits can be found all over the world. At present, deposits are being mined in Canada, Russia, China, Belarus, Israel, Germany, Chile, the United States, Jordan, Spain, the United Kingdom, Uzbekistan and Brazil, with the most significant deposits present in Saskatchewan, Canada.

Phosphate Mineral Deposits Africa has a wide range of phosphate minerals which are highly concentrated in Phosphate rocks, and is found in Nigeria and the states that have the deposits include Sokoto, Abia, Imo, Edo, Anambra and Ogun states.. It occurs in igneous and metamorphic rocks as a phosphate mineral such as fluorapatite Ca5F (PO4) 3, the deposits of Sokoto phosphate beds .
